Problem with Wireless headphones for TV?
ByI have a set of RCA wireless headphones (model WHP141) for listening to my HD television. The problem is when I plug the headset into the audio output on the TV, the sound from the TV speakers shuts off and then my wife cannot hear the TV. Is there something I can do to enable both the headset and the TV speakers so we both can hear the TV?
Apparently you are plugging the headphone base into the earphone/headphone jack on the tv set. Doing this causes the audio that goes to the tv speakers to cut off. Does your tv set also have audio outputs (red and white rca jacks)? If so plug the base there instead. That should allow audio from your tv speakers as well as the headphones.
