my grandpa is old and cannot hear very well…in order for him to hear, the volume must be very high, and it is hard for everyone else because it is loud, so we want to get him wireless headphones for Christmas so he can listen to the tv through them. how do we hook them up to the tv, and do we need a adapter or something?

you can usually get some that hooks up to the av place in the back of the tv. some go straight to the 3.5 mm jack. mostly all use a reciever and you need batteries
