Panasonic’s RP-HV277 earbud-style headphones can replace lost or stolen ‘phones without breaking the bank. Panasonic claims that the combination of 14.8mm drivers with a vented XBS design increases bass response. These tiny in-ear headphones also feature neodymium magnets, made of a rare-earth material that allows a powerful magnet to be very small. The rated frequency response for these ‘buds is claimed to be 10 Hz-25 kHz (a spec that the most expensive headphones would be ambitious to boast). The RP-HV277s come with a compact carrying case and a cord that terminates in an L-shaped 1/8-inch mini jack.
