Philips SHN2500/37 vs. Sony MDR-EX51LP(headphones)?
ByBoth earphones are probably a definite upgrade from my stock apple earphones…but does anyone own one of them or both?Which one is better? The Philips one is about a dollar more($23 on amazon),while the Sony one is $22.This would have been a clearcut win for Philips…but the Philips one needs a AAA battery for its in-line noise cancelling box.(which looks pretty bulky…and I dont really know what I would look having one of those hang from my chest).I’ve read the reviews for both but I need more opinions before I buy.Keep in mind i’ll be using it for my video ipod at school, doing hw,studying, and in bed.I care most about audio and bass quality(since my stock ones suck big time)more than noice cancelling(although I want slight reductions in noise too)

I personally want a pair of Sennheiser CX-300. You pay a little more for them, but I have only read positive things about them, as opposed to say the Sony pair which I have read deteriorates and ceases to function after a few months of use.
