can you get noise reduction headphones?

I live in London and recently flew back from a business meeting in New York on American Airlines Business Class, they had these cool headphones that when you put them on it didn't play music but plaid like a silent noise in your ear that stopped you hearing anything around you. Does anyone know how expensive they are and where i can get some from?

I JUST received a pair of Sennheiser PXC300 headphones and they are AWESOME. Closed design and noise cancellation. They are on par with the Bose QC2 but HALF the price. Screw Bose, get the Senns for half the cost you won't be disappointed.

Yes Bose makes a set for a pretty reasonable price.

These are specially desighned for the use of aeroplanes only they are not available anywhere elce. it's so you don't hear the noise of the engines. Plus it's not the actual headphones but the software thats built into the planes audio equiptment sorry but your out of luck mate…
