Is the QuietComfort® 15 Acoustic Noise Cancelling® headphones from Bose worth the $300s?

Now I want this for Christmas, but my parents only want to pay $100 for it, and my grandma would pay another $100 for it…is it worth it for me to spend $100 from my pocket to get it? I would use it to listen to music on my ipod and stuff, but is it worth it?

There is no way I would pay $300 for headphones regardless how nice they sound.

I wouldn’t even pay 50 dollars for headphones. Dude, those headphones cost more than a Playstation 3.
