Do noise cancelling headphones block out loud bass?

By admin

I have a neighbor who blares music and the bass comes through my walls, it actually shakes the walls. I am at my wit’s end.. I hate to have to tell my landlord and find out that I was the one who "told" and I don’t want to personally get involved with my neighbor. What should I do?? Thanks… oh yeah, so my question.. do Noise cancelling headphones like the ones from BOSE block out bass? bass really pulsates through your body so how does this work..

It will lower the noise about 75%, I have two pairs. But the actual vibration that you feel in your home or body will be the same. You should blare your music, something really horrible, see how he likes it.

I have the on the ear third generation headset. They do a pretty good job of blocking out some ambient noise, but I doubt they would have the effect you want. Now, couple the headset with some music at all times, the effect would be more pronounced. However, your best best would be trying to find a way to soundproof your wall.
