Vox AC 30 headphone amp trick
By
Here’s something cool you can do with your headphone amp. Unfortunately, my computer mic is not so cool, so the guitar sounds are a little compressed and almost sound flanged, but you’ll should get the idea. Just know it sounds better in real life than from my cheap mic.

I just got the …
I just got the Denon D5000 but I need only 100 Ohms because my Maudio has 100 Ohms so what would be my best buy for some extra Power ? I do not need extra stuff just more power . I was looking at the Behringer HA400 4-Channel Stereo Headphone Amplifier

Yeah, do you see …
Yeah, do you see the little black thing clipped to the headstock, that’s a tuner, my friend. One I used just prior to recording this video. After hearing how poorly and out of tune you sing, I can see why you’d get confused. But in all seriousness, my Macintosh microphone sucks and compresses everything, so you really can’t get a good sense of the tone I’m getting with that amp. I should redo this with a proper amp.

Yeah, I’ve seen it …
Yeah, I’ve seen it done through boom boxes and such. Those speakers are really a 20 watt amplifier, so it’s very much like a solid state modeling amp. I just wish you could hear the sound better in the video.

clever! it’s not a new idea, though, really. lots of people use amp modeling software on their computer (pod farm, amplitube, etc) and run it out through their speakers/studio monitors. it can sound surprisingly convincing, considering the size of the speakers.
